Chamber Committees

Chamber Members - Please call the Chamber at (727) 584-2321 if you are interested in participating in any of these committees:

Ambassadors Committee - Energetic team of volunteers who make regular contact with the membership to involve them in Chamber activities; provide Chamber leadership and staff with membership feedback; and participate in Chamber events, grand openings, ribbon-cutting ceremonies and other public events involving Chamber visibility.  Chaired by Laverne Welch of Grand Villa ALF.

Business Education Partnership - Facilitates programs with public/private schools in the Chamber's service area; promotes business (career days, job fairs, etc ...) and conducts fund-raising activities benefiting the Chamber's 501 (c) 3 Education Fund.  Chaired by Laurie Bunce of Centratel Services.

Chamber Cup Golf Tournament Committee:  Coordinates this major annual fund-raising Chamber event.  Chaired by Rick Donohue of Hampton Inn & Suites - Largo.

Economic & Small Business Development/Government Action Committee:  Works in partnership with city and county representatives on business growth/retention strategies and programs supporting small business advancement.  Identifies and takes action on issues of concern to business.  Chaired by David Puckett of GTE Financial.

Programs & Events Committee: Ensures that Chamber events and programs benefit Chamber members and the community.  Chaired by Rob England of England Brothers Construction.

Women In Business Council:  Develops monthly educational/networking events plus the annual Women In Business Forum & Expo.  Chaired by Sue Osborne of Pinecrest Place Retirement Community.
