Chamber Members – Committees enable you, our members, to support issues you’re passionate about while deepening your connection with other Chamber members and developing leadership skills. An Energetic team of volunteers who make regular contact with membership to involve them in Chamber activities; provide Chamber leadership and staff with membership feedback; and participate in Chamber events, grand openings, ribbon-cutting ceremonies and other public events involving Chamber visibility. Chaired by Dr. Rosemary DePasque of Belleair Bluffs Chiropractic.
Addresses issues that can have a positive influence on business and on those that can be costly and unfriendly. It provides communication channels between business and government and provides education and advocacy on priorities of the membership to the proper government body. Works in partnership with city and county representatives on business growth/retention strategies and programs supporting small business advancement. Supports the manufacturing, engineering and tech member businesses by organizing facility tours.
Presents the annual Inspire Awards, Speaker Series events as well as other fundraising events throughout the year. The Women's Leadership Committee raises funds for our Education Fund which awards scholarships to selected students. Chaired by Kim Feaster of Serenity Funeral Home & Serenity Gardens Menorial Park.
This committee aids in the planning of Chamber events including Coffee An' Networking, B2B Happy Hour, and Lunch & Learn. In addition, helps to secure event sponsors and new member businesses to host.
