Chamber Committees

Get Involved!  Chamber Members – Committees enable you, our members, to support issues you’re passionate about while deepening your connection with other Chamber members and developing leadership skills. Please call the Chamber at (727) 584-2321, if you are interested in participating in any of these committees:

Ambassadors Committee

An Energetic team of volunteers who make regular contact with membership to involve them in Chamber activities; provide Chamber leadership and staff with membership feedback; and participate in Chamber events, grand openings, ribbon-cutting ceremonies and other public events involving Chamber visibility.

Chamber Scholarship Task Force

Facilitates scholarship programs for schools in the Chamber's service area. Chaired by Laurie Bunce of Centratel Services.

Economic Development Committee

Works in partnership with city and county representatives on business growth/retention strategies and programs supporting small business advancement.  Identifies and takes action on issues of concern to business.  Chaired by Jim England of England Brothers Construction Company.

Women's Leadership Committee

Presents the annual Inspire Awards, Speaker Series events as well as other fundraising events throughout the year. The Women's Leadership Committee raises funds for our Education Fund which awards scholarships to selected students. Co-Chaired by Mia Cloud of Cloud Law Firm and Kelsey Truncale of Nova Southeastern University.

Government Advocacy Panel (GAP)

Addresses issues that can have a positive influence on business and on those that can be costly and unfriendly. It provides communication channels between business and government and provides education and advocacy on priorities of the membership to the proper government body. We’ve got your back!
